Part-time companion and carer for elderly woman Gothenburg

We are looking for a kind, patient and reliable person to provide companionship and light care for an elderly woman with chronic health conditions and limited mobility.

The role mainly involves staying with her, talking to her, helping her eat prepared food, assisting her with pre-arranged medication after meals, and keeping her comfortable and safe. Occasional duties may include reheating or preparing a simple meal according to instructions, occasionally attending to her toileting or hygiene needs, and helping her transfer between her wheelchair and bed. Her family manages her bathing, regular personal care, cooking and medication preparation.

Help is initially required for approximately 3–4 hours per visit, a few times per week or as agreed. Previous experience caring for older adults and safely assisting with wheelchair transfers is preferred.

Tamil or Hindi speakers are preferred, as she communicates best in Tamil and also speaks Hindi. She understands simple English.
