Experienced pet sitter, tailored care for every animal

Hi, I’m Giulia, 25, an experienced and attentive animal lover offering pet care on a peaceful car-free island. Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I cared for my own dog with special needs and chronic illness until recently, which taught me patience, close observation, reliability, and how important it is to adapt care to an individual animal’s routine and comfort. I have also lived with a cat for almost 20 years and a rabbit during childhood, dog-sat regularly for much of my life, cared for birds for five years, and recently cat-sat over a two-year period. I studied animal behaviour and training at university, and I am especially interested in understanding what makes each pet feel safe, engaged, and at ease. Whether your companion is energetic, shy, elderly, recovering, anxious, or has particular medical or behavioural needs, I will take time to learn their habits and follow your instructions carefully. My experience also extends beyond dogs and cats: I am knowledgeable about reptiles and have worked with reptile expos. I am happy caring for a wide range of pets, including reptiles, birds, rabbits, and other small animals. My home is quiet and animal-free, making it ideal for pets who benefit from undivided attention or a calm environment. It includes outdoor patio space, a large empty park only a minute away on foot and the beach two minutes away. The island is easily accessible from the mainland by ferry, rowboat, or bridge. I am also very open to commuting if you would prefer me coming to your place or area. I can offer relaxed walks, longer adventures, runs, or play, depending on your dog’s age, energy level, health, and preferences. I am not studying or working, so I have an open schedule and can dedicate plenty of time, care, and companionship to your pet.
