Hi, my name is Ika (like the supermarket)! I had both a dog and a cat throughout my childhood, and they were part of the family. Growing up with them is a big part of why I love animals so much. There’s something special about earning a pet’s trust and becoming someone they’re excited to see, or comfortable enough to fall asleep beside. I’d love to give your pet that same sense of comfort while you’re away. Your dog would have company and time to enjoy walks without being rushed. Your cat would get affection on their own terms, with space to settle in and approach me whenever they feel ready. Before we start, I’d like to learn about your pet’s routine and what makes them feel at ease. I’ll follow your instructions carefully and send regular photos and updates so you can see how they’re doing. I understand how much it matters to feel comfortable with the person looking after your pet. I offer care in my home or yours, as well as visits and dog walks. I’d be happy to meet beforehand so we can get to know each other and give your pet a chance to feel comfortable around me. Spending time with animals would be a real joy for me, and I’d take the responsibility of caring for yours seriously.
